Your spirits are free, but we will never depart
as long as I keep you alive in your heart.

Here at NO FAUX PAW, our goal is to breed and own Shar-Pei that are healthy and long lived. It is with that goal in mind, that we lovingly dedicate this veteran section to the memory of our beloved CSPCA CH. No Faux Paw Hao Kan You Lose, and Tuck'N Rolls Fun-Nee Beau.

Rest peacefully until we meet again.

My best friend closed her eyes last night,
As her head was in my hand.
The Doctors said she was in pain,
And it was hard for her to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled her in my arms.
Were of her younger, puppy years,
And OH...her many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

Unforgettable
It takes only a minute to have a crush on someone.
It takes an hour to like someone and a day to love someone.
But it takes a LIFETIME
to forget someone.

I lost a special friend the kind you can't replace, and looking at that empty spot on the bed I still can see her face.
I see the endless energy the sparkling puppy eyes, Not the tired, fragile friend I had to bid goodbye.
I know she's in a special place our Lord has for such friends,
Where meadows, fields & flowers help make them strong and whole again.

Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of an earth bound Angel. They are unable to stay with us for long, but while they do, they bring unprecedented joy and happiness to all they touch. While they are here, we bask in their goodness and marvel at their contribution to the world.

When they leave, we are left with the devastation that comes with losing such a wonderful being…but we must remember… the earth bound Angels are not ours to keep. They are ours to enjoy, learn from, and behold until they return to home.

A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne.
Although my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let her spend down here with me
And for her love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join her there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For she will greet me with her bark.
